Bangor, Maine (September 12, 2025) – New England Fights (“NEF”) will return with “NEF 64: Call to Arms” on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The card will feature a full lineup of mixed-martial-arts (MMA) and kickboxing bouts. Tickets are available now at www.TicketMaster.com.
Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of an amateur bantamweight bout: José Pereira (1-3) vs. Brady Nason (0-0) at 135 pounds.
Since making his amateur debut in February 2024 at NEF 56, José Pereira has become a familiar name inside the NEF cage. Representing Nostos, Pereira burst onto the scene with a spectacular knockout victory just 1:31 into the first round over Shane Bourgoin (0-2). That explosive debut set the tone for a challenging amateur run, as Pereira stayed active and tested himself against tough competition.
After his debut win, he faced a setback at NEF 57, where a doctor stoppage due to a cut handed him a loss against Ezra Butler (3-2). Pereira returned to the cage at NEF 60 in November 2024, going the distance before dropping a tough third-round loss to Jared Whitney (2-1).
Most recently, at NEF 63, Pereira stepped up in weight on short notice to compete at 145 pounds against John Soucy (2-0). Despite his natural home being the bantamweight division, Pereira showed his fighting spirit by going the distance with Soucy, ultimately losing by unanimous decision. Now, he’s set to continue his journey in the NEF cage, bringing his experience and determination back to the spotlight.

Stepping into the NEF cage for the very first time, newcomer Brady Nason is ready to make his mark. While he may be an unknown quantity to NEF fans right now, Nason brings fresh energy and the hunger of a fighter looking to establish his name in the promotion.
