Bangor, Maine (October 21, 2025) – New England Fights (β€œNEF”) returns with β€œNEF 64: Call to Arms” on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The event will showcase a stacked lineup of mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing bouts. Tickets are available now at www.ticketmaster.com.

Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of an amateur MMA bout to the fight card. Joe Bonkoski (0-0) will meet Tyler Murray (0-0) in a middleweight contest.

Joe Bonkoski will make his amateur MMA debut in the fight with Murray. Bonkoski trains at Young’s MMA in nearby Orrington, Maine under longtime coach Chris Young. Young’s has produced many MMA stars out of the Bangor-area over the years including Ray Wood and Glory Watson.

β€œThis isn’t about bloodlust for meβ€”I just chase things that challenge and excite me,” said Bonkoski. β€œI wouldn’t even say I’m desperate for a win. I just genuinely hope both of us learn something about fighting and ourselves.”

Like Bonkoski, Tyler Murray will also make his amateur debut in the bout. Murray joins a rich tradition of MMA competitors coming out of the Rumford, Maine-area over the years to battle in the NEF cage.

β€œI’m so grateful to have the chance to be able to debut for NEF especially knowing the event is on the weekend before Veterans Day,” said Murray. β€œI’ve been wanting this since 2020, so I’m glad I’m finally able to fight and see what I have. Either way, win or lose, I’m wanting to put on a good show.”

β€œNEF 64: Call to Arms” takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first fight at 7 p.m. Tickets are available now at www.TicketMaster.com.
