New England Fights (“NEF”) returns with NEF 64: Call to Arms on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The event will feature a full lineup of mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing bouts. Tickets are available now at www.ticketmaster.com.
Earlier today, NEF announced an amateur lightweight bout: Jacob MacMillan (1-1) vs. Preston Parham (1-0) at 155 pounds.
Jacob MacMillan burst onto the NEF scene earlier this year with a debut win at NEF 61, submitting Massachusetts’ Rob Boyle (1-1) in just over a minute and electrifying his hometown Portland crowd. He returned last month at NEF 63, where he suffered the first loss of his career to Indiana’s Justin Wygant (3-2).
Determined to stay active, MacMillan will now make his third appearance in ten months when he steps back into the cage at NEF 64. He trains at The Academy under Maine MMA pioneers and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belts Jay Jack and Amanda Buckner.
“I’m excited to make the walk back into the NEF cage on November 8th,” MacMillan said. “Whether I’m fighting or competing, it doesn’t matter. I live for it.”
New York’s Preston Parham will make his NEF debut at NEF 64, but he is already connected to the promotion. He trains alongside former NEF Bantamweight Champion Marco Berreondo, who is also set to compete on the Bangor card in his pro debut against top-ranked amateur featherweight Danny Buteau. Parham made his own MMA debut earlier this year, winning by first-round knockout. He represents Warriors Nation MMA in Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood.
“I want to thank Allah for this opportunity that NEF has given me to show my skills and hours of training that I have put in,” Parham said. “I also want to thank my teammates who have put the hours in the gym with me making me better every day. And I hope to put on a show inshallah.”
