NEF AND HOLLYWOOD CASINO ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

NEWS

New England Fights (“NEF”) Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway, Bangor, today announced a partnership joining Maine’s largest fight promotion with its top casino.  The joint venture is set to begin with NEF’s next event in Bangor, “NEF 57: All the Smoke,” on April 20, 2024, at the Cross Insurance Center.

The deal will provide NEF’s fighters, staff, and fans a home base for the combat sports promotion’s events in Bangor.  Located conveniently across the street from the Cross Insurance Center, Hollywood Casino offers the NEF faithful a place to stay, play, and enjoy themselves for a full weekend getaway.

Fans will be able to stay at Hollywood Casino hotel on fight weekend at a special reduced group rate with promo code NEFS.  While there, they will be able to play at more than 715 slot machines in the casino and try their hand at table games like blackjack, roulette, three-card poker, and more.  Fans can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks at Hops House 99 on-site, as well as live entertainment. Additionally, Hollywood Casino will offer a $10 Slot Play for each person holding an NEF event ticket.

NEF will offer Hollywood Casino Loyalty Program members a discount of 15% on Bangor event tickets.

“This is a game-changer for NEF events in Bangor,” said NEF co-owner and promoter Nick DiSalvo.  “We now have a place to call home for fight weekends at the Cross Insurance Center and it’s just steps away.  Come to see an exciting NEF event and stay the entire weekend with us.  Bangor’s NEF experience just leveled up.”

“Hollywood Casino, Hotel and Raceway is excited to partner with the amazing team at NEF,” said Alton Buzzell, marketing manager for Hollywood Casino. “We are committed to helping bring a variety of content to the city of Bangor and believe that athletic endeavors such as NEF only contribute to the vibrant entertainment lineup that Bangor has to offer. We look forward to seeing the fans on April 20th and beyond!”

“NEF 57: All the Smoke” will mark NEF’s debut in the Cross Insurance Center arena, the room that played host to the UFC’s only stop in Maine to date back in 2014 for “UFC Fight Night 47.” Doors will open at 5 pm with the first fight taking place at 6 pm on April 20.
