Bangor fight fans will see a familiar face return to the cage on Saturday, November 8, when Jonas Ryerson (1-0 kickboxing, 1-2 MMA) steps back into action at NEF 64: Call to Arms inside the Cross Insurance Center.
Ryerson made waves in the Maine fight scene last month at NEF 63: Cruel Summer, delivering a stunning 23-second first-round knockout over Quinn Poirier (0-1 kickboxing, 0-3 MMA). It wasn’t the first time he showcased his explosive power—he also owns a 10-second knockout victory in MMA.
Training out of Central Maine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CMBJJ), Ryerson has built a reputation as one of New England MMA’s most dangerous finishers. His ability to end fights in a flash has made him a fan favorite and a fighter to watch.
At NEF 64, he will face William Lagasse (0-1 kickboxing, 2-5 MMA) of Team Alena. Lagasse also debuted in kickboxing at NEF 63, where he went three competitive rounds with undefeated kickboxer Connor Morrill. In MMA, Lagasse has scored two lightning-fast knockout wins that lasted a combined 37 seconds. With both fighters capable of finishing a fight in seconds, this matchup promises high drama from the opening bell and is the kind of action that defines Maine MMA.
“This is just the start of something that’s been a long time coming,” Ryerson said after his kickboxing debut. “It doesn’t matter who is in front of me. 2-0.”
NEF 64: Call to Arms takes place Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the first fight scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at TicketMaster.com
