New England Fights (“NEF”) returns with “NEF 64: Call to Arms” on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The event will showcase a stacked lineup of mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing bouts. Tickets are available now at www.ticketmaster.com.
Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of an amateur bantamweight MMA bout to the fight card. Jarad Whitney (2-1) is scheduled to meet Omar Guerrero (1-2) at a fight weight of 135 pounds.
Jarad Whitney will make his first appearance in the MMA cage since “NEF 60” last November when he submitted Jose Pereira (1-3) deep in the third round. It was Whitney’s second bout with the promotion after previously taking on current NEF Professional Bantamweight Champion Nick Eldridge (6-0) at “NEF 54” in September 2023. Whitney represents Titan Athletics based in nearby Brewer, Maine.
“This fight has ‘fight of the night’ written all over it,” said Whitney. “This man has power in his hands and doesn’t take his foot off the gas. I don’t plan on letting off that pedal either, so expect either a crazy finish, or a back-and-forth war. I want blood. I want glory. And I eventually want money. And this is the matchup that will elevate my career. Expect a whole new me that fans haven’t seen before.”
Omar Guerrero will make his first appearance with NEF in the bout with Whitney. He is a veteran of three previous MMA fights as well as two kickboxing matches. Guerrero has yet to be finished by any of his opponents, taking all four of his losses to the judges’ scorecards. Last spring, Guerrero picked up the first victory of his amateur career with a first-round knockout of Thomas Davis (0-1) on a fight card in Massachusetts. He currently represents North Shore Muay Thai.
‘This fight is just the next test in my journey,” stated Guerrero. “Everyone can expect to be entertained. My team pushes me where I need to be, and November 8th you’ll see that.”
